Think Of These Things- Know Change Comes With Spirit

We pray for change, we hope for a change, but we wait impatiently. Is
the great spirit not hearing us? We asked. Where is the answer?

If our prayers were suddenly answered, would be we ready? Or would we
look behind us for the familiar things, the people, the habits, the
routine?

If we were instantly healed, instantly prospered, instantly sought
after and loved, then what would we do? Attention, compassion and
self-pity are sometimes more important than having everything changed
for the better.

The fear of being without something to keep us working
with the same burden, dealing with familiar pain, can stop us from
knowing what it is to be free and well.

If we can envision life without a particular problem we can turn our
minds to real change and have it happen. If we can see change, receive
it, and know the joy, then gratitude and thanksgiving sets it in
place.

Daily Reflection: Anger Atonement Enriches Life

It is interesting how a simple conversation can induce thoughts of reflection and revelation in life. A friend of mine today mentioned feeling angry and I came up with the following reflection if not Revelation.

“Sometimes you have to become angry it helps a person redefine their strengths and provokes thoughts in people about things that matter as  well as helps people strive for better in their life. There is a place for everything in life including anger. ” Anger can provoke and furnish necessities that are needed in our lives, communities, societies, countries and universal governance. Anger can prod the human conscious into an extravaganza of  appealing solutions to better a person’s life and other people’s lives. Reflection and Revelation when one least expects it brings about awakenings and universal atonement

Elders Meditation Of The Day- Creator’s Simple Laws Bring Happiness

The Creator designed a very simple set of Laws for us to follow. If we follow these simple things, we’ll be happy. If we don’t follow these simple things, our lives become complicated.

For example:

Respect Mother Earth

Love one another

Be truthful

Give to your brother and sisters

Be gentle with each other

Be happy

Following these simple Laws will have great rewards.

Great Spirit, let me lead a simple life.

The Daily Feast- Ignoring Common Sense

In retrospect, we have ignored common sense in favor of doing what we wanted to do. We wish we had not done it, but we said what we wanted to say, spoke out when it would have been better to stay quiet – we have overruled our common sense. Looking back again, when did we get off track? What little thing stung us into action? If we learn to hear the voice of wisdom we can overcome our foolishness. Wisdom never lets us down, but ignoring it will put away from us the best friend we can have.
